The Missions of ALNAFT
Management of Mining Titles
ALNAFT grants, regulates, and monitors hydrocarbon exploration and exploitation permits. It ensures transparency and legal compliance for all operations carried out within the national mining domain.
Approval of Development Plans
The Agency reviews and approves the development plans submitted by operators to ensure optimal, sustainable, and economically efficient exploitation of reservoirs.
Evaluation and Control of Upstream Activities
ALNAFT monitors the quality, safety, and sustainability of exploration and production activities, ensuring compliance with best practices and contractual obligations.
Management and Valorization of National Data
Through the National Hydrocarbon Data Bank, ALNAFT centralizes, secures, and provides access to a unique repository of geological and geophysical data for the benefit of investors and researchers.
