On 21/07/2025, ALNAFT and SONATRACH proceeded with the handover of the attribution deeds and the signing of five hydrocarbon contracts relating to five different perimeters awarded following the competitive tender “Algeria Bid Round 2024”, during a ceremony honored by the presence of the Minister of State, Minister of Energy, Mines, and Renewable Energies.
The contracts, signed under the framework of Law No. 19-13 on hydrocarbons, are as follows:
- A Participation hydrocarbon contract for the Exploration and Development of the “Toual II” perimeter;
- A Participation hydrocarbon contract for the Exploration and Development of the “Guern El Guessa II” perimeter;
- A Production Sharing hydrocarbon contract for the Exploration and Development of the “Reggane II” perimeter;
- A Production Sharing hydrocarbon contract for the Exploration and Development of the “AHARA” perimeter;
- A Production Sharing hydrocarbon contract for the Exploration and Development of the “Zerafa II” perimeter.
