A strong start to NAPEC: Africa & Mediterranean Energy & Hydrogen Exhibition & Conference 2026.
The first morning of NAPEC set the tone with the official opening ceremony and a strategic address by Mr. Abdelkader Cherfaoui, President of ALNAFT.
In his address, Mr. Cherfaoui announced the extension of Algeria’s 2026 Bid Round, while highlighting its strong momentum: nearly 60 companies have expressed interest, with more than half having already accessed the Data Package.
The opening was followed by the address of H.E. Mr. Mohamed Arkab, Minister of State, Minister of Hydrocarbons, officially marking the start of NAPEC 2026.
The Minister also visited the ALNAFT stand, where discussions focused on Algeria’s upstream investment opportunities and the ongoing Bid Round.
