Nomination process – Instructions

ALNAFT invites stakeholders in the sector to contribute to the preparation of the Algeria Bid Round 2026 by nominating areas of interest for the upcoming competitive tender. The proposed areas will be evaluated by ALNAFT in light of national priorities, geological potential, and the outcomes of the consultation.

 Before starting

Nominations must reflect a genuine and serious interest in launching upstream activities in the short term. Participants are invited to propose areas for which they envisage effective participation within the framework of the Bid Round.

Nominators should also be aware that any future bidder will be required to demonstrate sufficient technical and financial capabilities, in accordance with regulatory requirements and eligibility criteria (link to prequalification).

Important: The submission of a nomination does not guarantee that the area will be retained for public consultation or included in the final list of the Bid Round. ALNAFT reserves the right to adjust or exclude any area based on its technical and strategic assessment.

Steps to complete your nomination

To participate, please follow the steps below. :

1. Read and accept  The Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA).
2. Check your email to receive your confirmation and registration details.
3. Nominate and rank the areas of interest from the proposed list.

Nominators are invited to propose a minimum of eight (8) areas/blocks, with no maximum limit on the number of nominations.

After submission

Once your form has been submitted, you will receive a confirmation. Your nomination will be reviewed by ALNAFT, and you will be informed of the next steps in the process.
